Lists don’t really mean anything to me - they are, at the very least, a bit dull. I look back at them and can’t be bothered to read them. But we all need to do lists - to get things out of our head, and to organise some plan for what we are going to do.
Lists are like the proverbial spider has run all over the page and no matter how organised they were with their approach to running, and how neatly they ran up and down in regular lines, it’s still just see a spider running.
So the images shown are of my versions of doing a list. I can see what I mean in these pictures, I can see what’s important and where the emphasis should be. And although they probably don’t mean anything to anyone else they don’t need to - these are my lists. They are the way I like to do things - and what makes sense to me.
After all, we are all different.
What’s coming?
This Substack is intended to expand upon the ideas of the pen and ink sketch journal, to provide examples, inspiration and ‘how to’ guides. From the simplicity of QUAD (quick and dirty) sketching, to the concept of worldbuilding for positivity, and to getting your thoughts and feelings out onto paper.
Thanks for reading this and coming on the journey with me. Enjoy the journey and the destination can just look after itself.
All the best,
Peter
I don't like doing lists - so I don't
Well, it's no secret to anyone who knows me that Rebecca LOVES a conventional list... but oh boy, Peter, yours are STUNNING! I feel I need to push my list boundaries as a result of this post - this could be just what I need - thank you so much!
