From rough pencil sketch to adding colour.
Ordered a $4 "Shark" pen. Should arrive at weekend, then I'll dive in.
I love seeing your process!
Thanks Mike - I appreciate it! 👍
Are there specific fountain pens you like for this kind of work?
I use a Lamy fountain pen with a broad nib and Noodlers Bulletproof Black ink so that I can wash over it with wine and coffee.
Beautiful. I just love it. Similar to my impatient style, but I keep a small range of a few colors. My sketch sometimes is redone when I get home.
Often had those thoughts of you dipping your spoon into the wine, coffee and wine served to you. I'm going to try your method.
Last Monday sketched Tia Taco on N. Beach St. where i had lunch. Love to sit outdoors.
Wow - Florida is a bit different to South Devon, UK but both very nice, of course. You probably have more chance to sit outdoors though. 👍
Have you ever had the Noodler's black ever ruin a nib?
No, the Noodlers ink is OK for fountain pens. 👍
