Really enjoyed this post, Peter! I have two of your fabulous notebook covers and really appreciate them. Loved reading about how they came about.
I know what it's like to say goodbye to something like this - I closed my own creative business a couple of years ago now. It wasn't an acrimonious split or anything: our parting was amicable! Happy memories, and yes, I miss it sometimes. It was right to move on.
Thanks Rebecca, and I hope my use of the word 'accidental' didn't undermine how seriously I took it. I think the word inadvertent would have been more appropriate, but not as dramatic!
Well, if my own turning-a-passion-into-a-business experience is anything to go by, 'accidental' is an absolutely appropriate choice of word! 𤣠Your notebooks are amazing - it's totally clear how seriously you took them, and as a customer (twice!) I'm very grateful for that! đ
I love my Startbay cover, it traveled with me quite a bit - perfect companion for the Usk Symposium and my trips home - and it still does <3 Happy to be able to continue reading about your adventures, notebooks making or not.
I am one of the lucky people who owns some of your gorgeous notebooks. I use them regularly. And I dearly miss the shop. I was really sad that you stopped making them (although I totally understand your reasons). There are times I wish Iâd bought all of the special editions I missed out. But thank you so much for the time that you shared the books with us all.

Thanks Roland - I thought it was about time to confess that I'm not clever enough to have had some grand master plan. đ

Thank you so much. It's quite an honour to have made some impression on the wonderful world of stationery.
Hello Peter. I echo all of Monaâs sentiments above. I love the three notebooks I bought from you and I really miss your shop!
Hi Julie, thank you - I do miss it a bit too.
